Your Treatment

Helping you feel less nervous about your pain
At Physiolosophy, we appreciate that pain is personal to every individual. Therefore, we conduct our examinations and treatments based on you. In addition to the medical screening, we also take your lifestyle, stress, nature of work, sleep, culture, past experiences, and beliefs into consideration.
Physiolosophy is a musculoskeletal specialist clinic that treats clients aged 16 and above. We work with individuals experiencing either new onset or persisting muscle and joint pain.
Busy mothers, facing challenges to prioritize and care for themselves; Sports athletes and gym-goers, who may be hesitant to resume exercising due to previous or ongoing injuries; and Mandarin-speaking clients, concerned about language barriers.
Persistent pain is a pain syndrome, whereby pain persists for 12 weeks or more. This type of pain can stem from a combination of physical, mental, emotional, medical, and genetic factors, as well as one’s background, culture, and lifestyle.
Combination therapy is the primary approach at Physiolosophy, wherein we integrate hands-on treatments such as manual therapy, manipulation, acupuncture, ultrasound therapy, and electrical muscle stimulation with a tailored exercise program that suits you best. This is determined based on your examination outcomes, abilities, and goals.
Osteoarthritis is an ineveitable, age-related condition, though we can maintain or slow down the progression with suitable lifestyle changes and adaptation. Pain is highly individualised; hence, there is no one specific treatment for osteoarthritis. A thorough examination with us is crucial to determine what is most suitable for you.
There is no set amount of sessions we prescribe per client. The number and frequency of your session are adapted based on your needs. Factors such as injury duration, type of injury, chronicity, lifestyle, medical history, confidence and end goal would be taken into consideration when deciding on the amount of session you require.
Yes we take most of the major insurance providers in the UK. However, we may ask for a small fee for your initial session to cover our cost, depending on your insurance provider. We advise that confirm with your insurance provider directly in understanding the extent of the coverage for our services.
